Built a fully automated content publishing system running 7 simultaneous blogs across 4 client sites. Claude Sonnet writes each post, a Netlify or Vercel deploy goes live, and a launchd cron handles the schedule every morning at 6am. Zero editorial staff, zero human touchpoints.
The Challenge
Content marketing requires consistent publishing to compound in search rankings. Most businesses publish 1-2 posts a month and wonder why they don't rank. Hiring writers for daily content across multiple sites is cost-prohibitive for small businesses.
Our Approach
- Built a Node.js publisher with 7 adapters targeting Netlify and Vercel deploy pipelines for different blog configurations.
- Used Claude Sonnet 4.6 with tool_use API for guaranteed structured JSON output, enforcing tone, word count, and formatting rules per site.
- Built state management per site tracking published slugs, last post date, and error logs.
- Configured launchd 6am cron on Mac to trigger the full publishing run daily without cloud compute cost.
The Outcome
Seven blogs across four client domains now publish fresh, SEO-optimized content every morning at 6am with zero human involvement. Monthly content volume that would cost $3,000-$5,000 in writer fees runs for the cost of Claude API tokens.
