Miami to Colombia, Priced and Tracked in One Place
A Medley freight forwarder that ships boxes, documents and online orders from Miami to Colombia. We built a bilingual site where customers get a real price, track their package and get answers in Spanish at any hour, without waiting for a call back.
The Challenge
Sky 1 of Miami's customers are mostly Colombian families and small businesses in South Florida, and they ask the same three questions: how much, how long, and where is my box. Every one of those questions was a phone call or a WhatsApp message, and the answers depended on someone being free to pick up.
Our Approach
- Built the site Spanish first, with English one tap away, and a loud Miami and Colombia look instead of a generic shipping template.
- Built a quote engine that works out real billable weight from size and weight, applies Colombia delivery zones and shows the total live.
- Built package tracking for customers and a simple admin screen for the team to update shipments.
- Added an AI assistant that can give a quote, look up a tracking number and answer common questions, in Spanish or English.
- Sent every quote and contact request straight to the team by email, with the warehouse drop-off address and hours on every page.
The Outcome
The site is live with instant quotes at $4 per pound all-in to the door, self-serve tracking and a bilingual assistant that answers around the clock, so the team spends its time shipping instead of repeating prices on the phone.
